A legendary kind of love is waiting for IU and Park Bo Gum in Jeju in their upcoming drama, "When Life Gives You Tangerines."
Netflix on Friday released the trailer, which introduces Ae Sun (IU), a fiesty girl who wants to become a poet, and Gwan Sik (Park Bo Gum), the quiet boy who loves her. The trailer shows glimpses of them throughout their life, from childhood to adulthood.
One scene shows Gwan Sik putting a ring on Ae Sun's finger, and her throwing it across a field. Another shows a grown Ae Sun running and weeping.
The official description on Netflix reads: "In Jeju, a bold girl and a devoted boy's island story blossoms into a lifelong tale of setbacks and triumphs — proving love can endure across generations." It will follow their story across four seasons in Jeju.
"When Life Gives You Tangerines" will premiere on Netflix on March 7.
