Tomorrow X Together’s Taehyun spent his birthday weekend in the tropical beaches of Cebu!
The group had recently concluded their long-term hiatus with a group appearance at the 8th episode of Beomgyu’s Beomedio live on Friday.
When asked what he did during the break, Taehyun explained that he had been in Cebu for the past few days and only returned to South Korea on Thursday.
“Two days ago, I was in Cebu…. I was in Cebu until yesterday,” he shared.
The TXT member explained that he enjoyed taking his break in the province, where he took part in water sports and played volleyball with other tourists on the beach.
He even mentioned that the staff of the resort he stayed in had recognized him and greeted him twice on his birthday with cakes.
“I played with water and leisure sports. I played beach volleyball and snorkeling. In the resort, they recognized me, and they wished me 'happy birthday'. I got it twice,” he said.
Early morning on February 6, he also went live on Weverse in the middle of his trip to thank MOAs who greeted him on his 23rd birthday last February 5.
During a 24 Oras interview in 2022, Taehyun previously mentioned that he would like to visit Cebu and Boracay in the Philippines.
Before the group's long-term break, he also mentioned Cebu among the suggested list of travel spots he might visit during the group hiatus.
Meanwhile, TXT said that their next comeback album is in the works.
The group recently made a comeback in November with “the Name Chapter: Sanctuary”, and will be returning with their fourth world tour “Act: Promise Episode 2” in March. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/JCB, GMA Integrated News
