Spotify RADAR Philippines is back, shining a spotlight on rising Filipino artists and taking their music to the global scene.
This year’s lineup includes a mix of indie, R&B, rap and pop artists such as ONE CLICK STRAIGHT, Dilaw, JERGE, ALLMO$T, Justin Vasquez, Young Blood Neet, Zae, Costa Cashman and ena mori. P-pop boy group BGYO also returns for another year.
Since launching in 2020, RADAR has helped emerging Filipino artists reach more fans and break into international markets.
“RADAR Philippines has become a strong platform that helps artists go global,” said Kossy Ng, Spotify’s head of Music for Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Meanwhile, artists recognize the impact of this opportunity, with ena mori saying, “It’s harder for artists to stand out today, so getting to work with Spotify RADAR is a big opportunity to introduce my music to a wider audience.”
ONE CLICK STRAIGHT also expressed their gratitude, calling the platform “a validation” of their dedication to their craft.
RADAR Philippines has grown massively, with streams tripling in the past year and gaining more listeners from the USA, Canada, UAE, Australia, and Singapore.
In 2024, five Filipino artists — Dionela, Maki, Cup of Joe, BINI and Hev Abi — ranked among the top 10 RADAR artists worldwide, proving OPM’s global appeal.
