Dia Mate shares snaps from her Reina Hispanoamericana homecoming parade

Dia Mate was lovely in red at her homecoming parade!

The newly crowned Reina Hispanoamericana greeted her countrymen and supporters at the event held at the SM Mall of Asia complex.

Dia wore a bright red gown by Ryan Ablaza Uson, as well as her Reina Hispanoamericana crown and sash. The beauty queen was aboard a white convertible with a marching band in front as she waved to fans. She also held a Philippine flag.

Fans carried banners to congratulate Dia.

“Para sayo ‘to, Pilipinas!” Dia said on Instagram.

“Thank you so much to everyone who came to my [Reina Hispanoamericana] homecoming yesterday! Your support means the world,” the beauty queen added.

Dia won the Philippines’ second Reina Hispanoamericana crown after Winwyn Marquez in 2017.

She also took home the Best in National Costume award, donning an Ehrran Montoya dress inspired by the Baroque Churches of the Philippines.
