MANILA  Philippine annual inflation was likely to be within a range of in 1.7% to 2.5% in March, the central bank said on Monday, compared with 2.1% in the previous month.

“The Monetary Board will continue to take a measured approach in ensuring price stability,” it said in a statement.

The Philippines’ statistics agency will release inflation data on April 4.
