MANILA, Philippines — P-pop group BGYO recently launched a self-titled EP featuring five tracks, including their latest music video “Divine.”
This vibrant and lively video celebrates the beauty of love in a fresh, summer-like way.
BGYO recently took the spotlight at Star Magic Spotlight press conference, celebrating their journey, highlighting their triumphs, growing presence on the music stage, and of course, their new music.
When asked if they are ready to take on more mature concepts in their next releases, Nate said, “We’re ready for anything, and we’re getting older din po, so we should match our feelings to our music so that it’s really us, BGYO.”
“Also ilang years na rin kami, four years. Nag-mature na rin kami when it comes to our music and how we present ourselves,” Mikki added.
The members also shared that they are open to exploring other fields such as theater arts, gaming, and acting.
“First time namin (him and JL) mag-musical (2023) sa 'Tabing Ilog: The Musical,' sana makapag-perform ulit (kami) sa theater arts,” Akira said.
When asked about their thoughts on the rising P-Pop groups, Mikki expressed, “Sobrang saya po, kasi when we started, konti pa lang. We were just so happy na there are a lot of artists that are trying to lift up OPM music around the world.”
As they continue to refine their craft, the members remain committed to telling stories through music.
“More music, more performances,” Mikki said.
2025 is shaping up to be one of BGYO’s most exciting years. Their latest era signals not just growth but a deeper artistic journey, one that their fans, ACEs, will hopingly follow with unwavering support.
