In case you didn't know, Ayen Munji-Laurel was once a princess in Brunei.

On Monday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," the actress and singer looked back on her years as a real-life royal.

"It's a different world. Akala ng iba, you know parang ang saya-saya ng buhay mo. Bakit ka pa umalis? Why did you turn your back?" she said.

"Of course marami ng istorya, nakakatawa. Minsan, kapag nababasa ko parang iba-iba kasi they make it sound as if you had it easy," she added.

Comparing her life now and then, the actress said that she would not trade her present for anything else.

"Kasi siguro kumpleto ang buhay ko and mayroon akong asawa na present sa buhay ko. I guess that makes the difference," she said.

Ayen was previously married to Prince Jefri Bolkiah, a member of Brunei's Royal Family. They have a son named Hasan.

She is now married to Franco Laurel and a mother of five.

She currently stars in "Prinsesa ng City Jail" with Sofia Pablo, Allen Ansay, Beauty Gonzalez, and Denise Laurel.

The series follows the story of Princess (Sofia), a young girl raised near a prison by her jail guard father. She brings light to the lives of the people around her, especially the convicted criminals. But despite her love and happiness with them, Princess still longs for a mother who abandoned her.

The show airs on GMA Afternoon Prime on weekdays at 3:20 p.m.
