The two senatorial aspirants hold a press briefing ahead of their volunteers' campaign kickoff in Iloilo City

ILOILO CITY, Philippines – Former senators Kiko Pangilinan and Bam Aquino headed to Iloilo City for their volunteers’ campaign kickoff for the two senatorial aspirants on Thursday, March 6.

In 2022, Bam Aquino, foregoing a senatorial return, managed the campaign of the Leni Robredo and Pangilinan tandem.

Iloilo was among the “pink” provinces that delivered to Robredo and Pangilinan over the tandem of Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte. 

Ahead of the late afternoon rally on Thursday, where they will be joined by Robredo, Senator Risa Hontiveros, and former Senate president Franklin Drilon, Pangilinan and Aquino hold a press conference to address questions about their campaign and plans if they are elected back to the upper chamber.
