WATCH: Kiko Pangilinan, Bam Aquino head to Robredo’s turf for final campaign push

Pangilinan and Aquino hope that Naga City will deliver the votes they need to make their senatorial comeback

NAGA CITY, Philippines – In the final stretch of the campaign, former senators Kiko Pangilinan and Bam Aquino joined former vice president and Naga mayoral candidate Leni Robredo during their miting de avance on Saturday, May 10, at Naga City.

Former senator Leila de Lima, the first nominee of the Mamamayang Liberal party list, also took part in the program.

Pangilinan and Aquino hope that Naga, which has 121,773 registered voters, would deliver votes in favor of their senatorial comeback.

According to Pulse Asia’s latest survey on May 5, Aquino was the only one in the tandem with a chance of making it to the Magic 12, ranking between 11th and 18th, while Pangilinan trailed at 17th to 19th place.

Robredo is also seeking Naga City’s mayoral seat in this year’s polls. She is running against three other candidates: Ganda Abrazado, Toots de Quiros, and Louie Ortega.
