During a pro-Duterte rally, supporters of former president Rodrigo Duterte argue whether they should grant interviews to journalists
MANILA, Philippines – On the sidelines of a rally marking the 80th birthday of detained former president Rodrigo Duterte in Plaza Miranda, Quiapo, Manila on Friday, March 28, an argument broke out among his followers.
They raised they their voices as they clashed over whether they should grant interviews with journalists.
While an overseas Filipino worker (OFW), who described herself as a Duterte diehard, was being interviewed, an angry fellow Duterte follower approached her.
The indignant Duterte follower told the OFW being interviewed that she should not talk to journalist because “they are biased.”
“Maraming salita, maraming mali (More talk, more mistakes),” said the angry Duterte adherent.
