#AmbagNatin: Batangueños share local concerns, points to consider for 2025 elections

Batangas citizens answer what they want for their city to develop and what should be considered when voting for their next leaders

BATANGAS CITY, Philippines – Your vote in the upcoming 2025 elections can shape the future of your locality. By voting, you have the chance to elect leaders who can address the concerns in your community.

To better understand the issues in Batangas, Rappler Movers took it to the streets to showcase the perspectives of Batangueños on pressing concerns within their locality and what citizens should consider when voting for local leaders who can make their province improve.

This effort is part of Rappler’s voter empowerment campaign, #AmbagNatin, which aims to empower and inform voters as the May 2025 election nears.

This video was produced by Batangas Movers composed of Angela Ballerda, Yoela Leonor, Nathaniel Magpantay, Cahvriligne Trizh Ronquillo, Wince Armel Manlogon, Andrei Nathaniel Macaya, Gwyneth Felicity Usita, Renquist Bancoro, with supervision from Rappler’s MovePH and Production Team.

Do you know any other developments related to the Batangas elections? The public can relay any reports to Rappler. The Rappler Communities app has a public chat room called voter-hotline, where any reader can post photos or post a message to share insights and even report election-related issues and violations. Comelec staff are in the chat room to monitor reports sent by users. – Rappler.com
