Two rebels killed, one surrenders in Surigao del Sur encounter

TANDAG CITY, Surigao del Sur — An encounter between government and communist rebels, labeled as members of the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG), left two insurgents dead and another surrendering in Surigao del Sur. Col. Glenn Joy Aynera, acting commander of the 401st Infantry Brigade, said the clash occurred around 9 a.m. on Friday (April 17)
