Cielito Zamora Senior High School receives the BIDA Lourdes Best Robotics Project Award.
MANILA, Philippines — Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital celebrated its annual showcase of innovation with the 2026 Brainiac Robotics Challenge Finals recently at the De La Salle Santiago Zobel School in Alabang, Muntinlupa.
The event brought together over 400 students across the National Capital Region, who participated in the event’s Line Tracing and Project Innovation competitions.
The event was also graced with judges from Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, De La Salle Santiago Zobel School, SI Center Tech and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).
The Line Tracing Competition was a test of programming knowledge, with San Gabriel Elementary School and Cielito Zamora Senior High School taking first place in their respective categories for successfully navigating their robots in the competition’s hospital simulation course.

The Project Innovation Competition showcased design pitches and robotics projects aimed at improving healthcare. Caloocan Science High School, Ramon Magsaysay Cubao High School and Cielito Zamora Senior High School emerged as winners in the Design, Entry-Level and Advanced Level categories, respectively.

In addition to their wins, Cielito Zamora Senior High School received the BIDA Lourdes Best Robotics Project Award, for one of their projects’ strong potential healthcare application.
Part of Lourdes Hospital’s BIDA Lourdes: Sci-Tech Champs campaign with the Department of Education, Brainiac bridges healthcare and education by challenging students to develop science and technology driven solutions that address real-world health needs.
On its third year, the Robotics Challenge continues to nurture young innovators by combining technical skill with purpose. More than just a competition, it serves as a platform where young minds can shape a smarter, more compassionate future for Philippine healthcare.
