Eight contingents showcased their artistic talent and festive attires and props as they performed at the Dinagyang Festival 2025 tribes competition in Iloilo City on Sunday.
According to Kim Salinas’ report on “24 Oras Weekend,” the groups’ performances exhibited faith, unity, and stories and the colorful culture of the Ilonggos.
Thousands of locals and travelers participated in the festivities. Locals and tourists alike filled the Calle Real as they interacted and took pictures with the contingents.
Before the competition, a Eucharistic celebration was held at the San Jose Placer Parish Church.
The police also tightened its security to ensure public safety.
