Christmas is just a hundred days away, and some shoppers are already heading to Divisoria in Manila and Dapitan Arcade in Quezon City to shop for Christmas decorations.

According to Katrina Son's report on "24 Oras" Tuesday, vendors in Divisoria and Dapitan have not yet raised their prices for Christmas decorations, but are expected to do so as Christmas gets closer.

"Nagp-prepare na po kasi excited na rin po, mag-c-Christmas na po," one shopper said.

Another shared that Christmas decorations symbolize the joy of the holiday season.

"Symbolism kasi 'yun ng spirit ng Christmas talaga. Once na nag-ano ka na ng mga decoration, happiness, ganun," she said.

Some vendors also shared that they are hoping to make good sales this holiday season.

"Talagang magkakaroon kami ng pag-asa kasi kahit paano 'di ba, dumaragsa na rin po 'yung pinaka buyer namin," a vendor said.

Apart from colorful parols, other popular Christmas decorations are Christmas trees, different designs of Christmas balls, and more.

Not a few expressed their excitement to receive aguinaldos this Christmas from godparents, as well as monito-monita exchange gifts. For employees, there is also the Christmas bonus to watch for.

More than the gifts, bonuses, and decorationss, however, the true meaning of Christmas shines through: celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and living out his values.
