Due to the overwhelming love and support from their fans, iconic music group Sessionistas — composed of Ice Seguerra, Nyoy Volante, Sitti, Duncan Ramos, Princess Velasco, Kean Cipriano and Juris — is returning for a second night of their reunion concert. Titled "Love, Sessionistas: Day 2," the show is set to take place on April 4 at The Theatre at Solaire, Parañaque City.
"We call this concert 'Day 2' because even before the February 8 show was announced, we already had a second date planned. It was originally supposed to be a back-to-back concert, but when we reserved the venue, we realized that February is packed with concerts, and only one date was available at the time," Seguerra shared in an intimate interview with the press.
Fans can expect the same heartfelt performances that made the first concert unforgettable. The group will also reintroduce the "Dear, Sessionistas" segment where they will select fan letters and present them through stories and songs.
Meanwhile, there is also a possibility that their viral special dance number — the group's first-ever — will make a comeback in the next show.
Velasco humorously recalled their struggle during rehearsals, "Our choreographer was young, and the steps were super youthful, so we just stood there watching, thinking, 'Is this even possible?'"

Seguerra added, "They were really out of breath. The start was fine, but towards the middle and end of the rehearsal, no one was singing anymore. But during the actual show, we made it work."
The return of the Sessionistas has been an emotional experience for both the artists and their audience. Reflecting on the crowd's reaction to the first concert, Velasco shared, " Singing is so much fun when you can feel the energy of the crowd. We love watching concerts because the feeling is completely different compared to just listening on Spotify, for example, versus being there live. And then both the artist and the audience feed off each other's energy."
"So for us, as the ones performing on stage, when we feel the energy of the people — especially when we see them crying or smiling — it's such an incredible feeling, especially for those of us on stage," she added.
For Sitti, the concert was a realization of the strong bond they had built with their fans.
"Initially, we thought of the concert as a sort of reunion for us. But after the show, we realized it was also a reunion with everyone in the audience — many of whom told us that they've been watching us every Sunday. It made us fully realize and feel the connection we actually have with them — we saw it and felt it even more," she recalled.
"And to be able to witness and be part of that was amazing, especially since it had been such a long time since our last ASAP performance and the last time we were all together. They really enjoyed not just the songs and the music we shared but also our banter. Apparently, they loved seeing us interact with each other because it felt like they were just watching their own group of friends," Sitti continued.
Volante, on the other hand, shared that the audience's familiarity with their signature style was heartwarming.
"Back in our ASAP days, we had a segment where we read letters and based our song choices on them. The audience recognized it and reacted, which means they weren't just casual viewers back then — they knew exactly what we were doing. They truly know the Sessionistas," he mentioned.
With the concert experience, it has strengthened the bond between the Sessionistas members.
"Definitely it made us stronger. That's how I feel. I keep asking myself why we waited so long to do this... We said, 'Why didn't we think of doing a concert before?' I really feel like our friendship has leveled up," Seguerra shared.
Velasco added, "Maybe because we've grown older, we've learned so much more about life, our careers, our families, and our relationships."
With the success of the concert and growing demand, the group shared that there is a possibility of taking the show abroad.
"It's definitely possible. As we reunited, we had to consider each member's priorities — our families, our individual careers — so we'll see. But it's definitely part of the plan. We really want to do it," Seguerra said.
For now, fans can expect an evening of nostalgia, heartfelt performances, and unforgettable moments on April 4.
