Rihanna is making a big screen comeback — and releasing new music for it, too!

The singer-actress is the voice behind the girly and feisty Smurfette for the upcoming “Smurfs” movie.

In the film’s official trailer, Rihanna’s song “Don’t Stop the Music” played as the Smurfs had a dance party in their village. The trailer also revealed that Rihanna would be releasing new songs for the movie’s soundtrack.

"Smurfs" follows the Smurfs' new adventure after Papa Smurf (John Goodman) is mysteriously taken by evil wizards, Razamel and Gargamel. Smurfette leads the Smurfs on a mission into the real world to save him. With the help of new friends, the Smurfs must discover what defines their destiny to save the universe.

Directed by Chris Miller and written by Pam Brady, “Smurfs” premieres in July. Rihanna is also a producer on the film, using her real name, Robin Rihanna Fenty.

More cast members include Nick Offerman, JP Karliak, Daniel Levy, Amy Sedaris, Natasha Lyonne, Sandra Oh, Octavia Spencer, Nick Kroll, Hannah Waddingham, Alex Winter, Maya Erskine, Billie Lourd, Xolo Maridueña, and Kurt Russell.

Rihanna previously acted in “Ocean’s Eight” and “Battleship” among many others.

Her most recent song was “Lift Me Up” in 2022 for the film, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
