Raveena unveiled the deluxe edition of her album "Where the Butterflies Go in the Rain (Deluxe)" on February 28, featuring three new tracks, including a collaboration with American-Japanese singer UMI. Over the past year, she has actively released music and delivered spellbinding live performances in multiple countries. Her latest single, "Sun Don't Leave Me," arrived ahead of the deluxe album, reinforcing her signature fusion of pop, R&B, and jazz with traditional Indian musical elements. Songs like "Temptation," "Honey," and "Hypnosis" highlight her unique artistry.

A few days before the album's release, Raveena performed at the PLUS63 Festival at the Aseana City Concert Grounds on February 23, sharing the stage with local acts Jolianne, mrld, and James Reid, as well as international artists Jenevieve, RINI, and Kehlani. Before her performance, she hosted a meditation session titled "I Meditated Under a Tree With Raveena in Manila" at Soulspace BGC, Taguig City, giving fans a glimpse into her wellness routine.

At the pre-show event, Raveena met with the media before guiding attendees through meditation. Discussing her latest project, she shared that she and her team had crafted over a hundred songs before narrowing them down.

"We almost wrote 120 songs for the album. Choosing only three extra to release was difficult, but this album is my favorite one, and I spent so much time honing its sound," she said.

She hopes the deluxe edition will allow listeners to immerse themselves further in her music. "I wanted people to feel more of that and continue the life of this project because I want as many people as possible to hear it. I also want to keep honoring and celebrating the album," she explained. Among the songs, "Rise" and "Lose My Focus" hold special meaning for her. She also expressed admiration for Kehlani, calling her "such a beautiful person inside and out" and sharing her desire to collaborate with the festival headliner.

Reflecting on her artistry, Raveena described her music as "ethereal and cinematic — an appreciation of beauty and romance."

She emphasized the importance of being intentional and deeply connected to her craft, has guided her through difficult moments. "It has my whole soul, and it takes everything out of me. It's a lifelong relationship that I nourish," she said.

She also encouraged fellow artists to focus on the impact of their work, highlighting her dedication to spirituality and the role of meditation in both her music and personal life.

Touring presents its own challenges, but Raveena maintains a routine that keeps her grounded. She sets aside time each morning and evening for self-care. "I like to take good care of my body for at least two or three hours — to open up my muscles, sing, and move," she shared.

Looking ahead to her meditation session with fans, she underscored the significance of creating from a place of healing. She also reflected on the value of real connections in an increasingly digital age. "Having one-on-one connections and creating community in your life is so important."

For her, the most profound way to foster that connection is through shared mindfulness. "The most powerful way to do that is by teaching people to breathe together — to be intentional with their thoughts and energy."

Music has been a "healing force" in her life, helping her process emotions openly. As an American of Indian heritage, she finds solace in music and meditation, which allow her to cultivate a deep sense of self beyond external influences.

As fans await her North American tour in the coming months, they can also watch the music video for "Sun Don't Leave Me" on YouTube.
