LUCENA CITY — The Lucena-Calamba-Lucena train operation of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) resumed on Monday after a one month suspension.
The train’s operation was suspended on June 17 to give way for the repair of rails, embankments and bridges.
The train’s first trip on Monday departed Lucena station at 5 a.m. and arrived Calamba at around 7:30 a.m.
Each trip can accommodate 200 passengers, the PNR management said.
The route will also have stops in Sariaya, Lutucan, Candelaria, Tiaong (Lalig), San Pablo, IRRI College, Los Baños, Masili and Pansol.
