MANILA, Philippines — Six projects were added to the government’s public-private partnership (PPP) pipeline, bringing the total to 230 projects amounting to P2.86 trillion as of July.

Data from the PPP Center showed that as of July 28, the total value of projects in the PPP pipeline rose from previous month’s list amounting to P2.61 trillion.

The PPP Center said five national projects and one local project were added to the list.

Those added to the list include the unsolicited proposal submitted by the Philippine Regional Airports Consortium for the Francisco Bangoy International Airport, Southern Luzon International Airport and Sayak Airport bundled project amounting to P16.05 billion.

Also added to the pipeline are the development of a Philippine Spaceport valued at P17.5 billion; the Renewstable Green Hydrogen Power Plant in Marinduque worth P9.7 billion; Cross-border Electronic Invoicing System Project; Fuel Marking Program Project; and the Lumina Cluster Water Development Plan and Septage Management Program.

Meanwhile, the PPP Center said five projects were removed from the list.

Of the five delisted projects, four are national projects and one is a local project.

Those delisted are the development, expansion, operations and maintenance of Sayak Siargao Airport; Francisco Bangoy International Airport project; Traveler Information and Data Security System; MMDA (Metropolitan Manila Development Authority) Emergency Response Center; and the upgrading and improvement of the Iloilo Commercial Port Complex.

The PPP Center said the operation and maintenance of the Palayan City Hospital was also removed from the PPP pipeline following its award.

It said the project “is now reflected in the PPPC (PPP Center) database of projects under implementation.”
