Nothing Phone (3a) Series to use Snapdragon chipsets

The Nothing Phone (3a) Series is slated to use Snapdragon chipsets. This drives further anticipation as Nothing will announce the line on March 4, 2025.

The brand has confirmed that their upcoming midrange offerings will use Snapdragon chipsets through an X post. This is a notable change as they’ve used MediaTek chipsets just last year for the Nothing Phone (2a) and (2a) Plus.

Going back to the launch date, Nothing is expected to unveil two devices. This should be the Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro. Media outlets currently believe that the Phone (3a) will be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3.

Other details include it being fitted with an 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will also have a triple-rear camera setup with one being a telephoto camera, which is a first from the company.

Rounding off the rumored specs is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W of fast charging via USB Type-C. Both models could also get a camera button similar to the latest line of iPhones.
