In recognition of the exceptional contributions made by the late National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts and Superstar of Philippine Entertainment, Nora Aunor, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has assigned age-appropriate ratings to two of her esteemed movies in anticipation of their theatrical relaunch.
The films "Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos" and "Tatlong Ina, Isang Anak" have both been designated a PG (Parental Guidance) rating by the MTRCB review committee, thus making them suitable for family viewing. Parents are encouraged to provide guidance to younger audiences and to engage in meaningful discussions about the themes presented within these works.
Mario O'Hara's 1976 wartime drama, "Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos," has garnered significant acclaim from critics and is widely regarded as one of the finest Filipino films. "Tatlong Ina, Isang Anak" (1987) delves into the emotional complexities of motherhood through the narratives of three women interconnected by love and sacrifice.
The relaunch of these iconic films, facilitated by the ABS-CBN Film Restoration Project (Sagip Pelikula), serves as a tribute to the late actress, whose life and career have profoundly influenced Philippine arts and culture.
