Mikael Daez says no sleep as new parents but 'we have been enjoying the whole journey'

Mikael Daez got real about being new parents to his and Megan Young's newborn baby, Leon.

In an Instagram Reel, the trio did their own, family-style take on the trending challenge to the tune of “Azul” by J Balvin.

“Confirming reports na wala talagang tulog kapag may newborn,” Mikael said.

“But on another note, we have been enjoying the whole journey and taping life has trained us well for this period of two-hour naps and sleep-deprived days," he added.

The actor said they're "only newborn once" so they might as well "make the most" out of the experience.

Megan and Mikael welcomed their first child in May.

In a previous post, Mikael gave a shoutout to Megan, who endured a 20-hour labor. Mikael also celebrated his first Father’s Day last weekend.

The couple tied the knot in 2020 in intimate ceremonies.
