Key information about the Lineage2M game project was officially revealed by the publisher during the Grand Showcase event last weekend.
The Lineage2M Grand Showcase took place in grand style with a gaming-centric atmosphere in Thailand. At this event, the joint venture between VNGGAMES and NCSOFT (NCV GAMES) officially announced the release of the MMORPG Lineage2M across the entire Southeast Asian market, including the Philippines.
The event venue was decorated with the signature Lineage IP theme.
Present at the announcement, Mr. Bae Jungyong, CEO of NCV GAMES and Vice President of NCSOFT, outlined the product operation strategy for the Southeast Asian market. He stated: “The project development team is proud to introduce the latest innovations aimed at optimizing player experience for each release market. Committed to delivering perfection for all players, the game system has been fine-tuned to suit each country’s economic and cultural characteristics. In particular, NCV GAMES will reduce the emphasis on in-game item transactions while enhancing item acquisition through gameplay, ensuring a more natural and fair player experience.”

Additionally, the project will focus on customer support and localization to create a gaming environment that is friendly and accessible to all. Accurate and timely translations, along with 24/7 customer support, will ensure that players face no barriers during their gaming experience. Furthermore, community building and player engagement activities across all markets will be a top priority for the project moving forward.

During the event, it was officially announced that the game will launch on May 20 across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, and PC via the Purple Launcher. Lineage2M will be available in six Southeast Asian countries (Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam) and will use a shared international server, enabling gamers in the region to connect and interact seamlessly within the game world.
Google Cloud, the infrastructure provider ensuring smooth connectivity for 4K graphics and cross-server features, will also collaborate with the project to enhance gaming performance.
