Labor groups call for Recto resignation over PhilHealth funds diversion

MANILA, Philippines — The Nagkaisa Labor Coalition on Monday called for the resignation of Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, accusing him of “unrepentant incompetence,” following his remarks defending the diversion of P60 billion in Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) funds to the national treasury during his term as finance secretary. Nagkaisa, whose leaders served as petitioners-in-intervention
