DepEd prioritizes 1st-time recipients in laptop rollout for teachers

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Education (DepEd) has issued guidelines for the distribution of 231,725 newly procured laptops to public school teachers, with nationwide deployment scheduled to begin on Nov. 9. Education Secretary Sonny Angara announced that the guidelines under the Laptops for Teachers (L4T) initiative aim to prioritize educators who have never received
