MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Amusement and Entertainment Corp. (PAEC) introduces a new kind of immersive destination as BARI: The Abandoned Princess opens at Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
Inspired by one of Korea’s most enduring legends, BARI transforms ancient folklore into a breathtaking immersive experience where storytelling unfolds through light, movement, sound and emotion.
Developed by PAEC, the attraction blends cinematic environments, interactive installations and large-scale digital artistry—inviting visitors to move beyond traditional entertainment and step directly into a living myth.
The legend of Bari
Long ago, in a kingdom ruled by fear and pride, a child was abandoned before she was even given a name. That child would one day become Bari.
Years later, when the king and queen who forsook her stand at the edge of death, Bari becomes the only one willing to cross beyond the world of the living in search of salvation.
Her journey leads through towering mountains, endless seas, dreamlike landscapes and the mysterious realm between life and death itself—guided by compassion stronger than betrayal and courage greater than destiny.
At BARI, this timeless Korean folktale is reimagined as a fully immersive narrative experience where visitors are no longer mere spectators, but participants within the story itself.
