MANILA, Philippines — Streaming platform Netflix has released its initial series line-up for 2026, including a number of Korean dramas.

First to hit the platform is "Can This Love Be Translated?" starring Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung. The show is directed by Yoo Young-eun and written by the Hong Sisters, best known for penning "Hotel del Luna" and "Alchemy of Souls," the latter also starring Youn-jung.

"Can This Love Be Translated?" premiering on January 16 will revolve around "the unexpected romance that blossoms between a multilingual interpreter and a global celebrity as their professional relationship takes unpredictable and heartwarming turns."

Coming out on the same day is "No Tail to Tell" starring Kim Hye-yoon and Lomon, a show "packed with playful magic, quick banter, and heart-fluttering chemistry [as it] turns one tiny 'wish' into a very big problem."

Hye-yoon plays a cynical nine-tailed fox or gumiho, which grants wishes for a living but is opposed to becoming human or even falling in love.

That is until an accident with Lomon's Kang Si-yeol, a narcissistic yet warm-hearted athlete, turns her human and "a wish gone wrong sparks a magical, chaotic romance neither of them ever asked for."

Park Eun-bin reunites with her "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" director Yoo In-sik for the 1999-set comedy-action series "The WONDERfools" featuring an ensemble including Cha Eun-woo, Choi Dae-hoon, Im Seong-jae, Kim Hae-sook and Son Hyun-joo.

The undated show follows a group of awkward townies who unexpectedly gain superpowers and fight villains threatening the peace of Haeseong city.

Jisoo of the girl group Blackpink continues her acting streak in "Boyfriend on Demand" opposite Seo In-guk, who last year was designated a Philippine tourism ambassador.

The singer-actress plays webtoon producer Seo Mi-rae, who escapes reality through a subscription-based virtual dating simulation program to experience the dates of her dreams, longing for another chance at love in virtual reality.

In-guk will play Mi-rae's colleague and rival webtoon producer Park Kyeong-nam. There is also no official release date yet for "Boyfriend on Demand" though portions of the show were reportedly shot in Cebu.

Nam Joo-hyuk, Roh Yoon-seo, and Cho Seung-woo star in "The East Palace," an undated show about an individual capable of traversing the world of ghosts and a court lady with a secret, both working in tandem to answer the King's summons to unearth the titular palace's secrets.
