Jessie J has undergone breast surgery after being diagnosed with early breast cancer.

On Instagram, the British singer shared a health update, detailing the “honest lows and highs of the last 48 hours” she has been through.

The post featured photos of herself in the hospital with her partner Chanan Colman and their son Sky. 

“I will always show the good and hard bits of any journey I go through. Grateful to my doctor/surgeon and all the nurses who cared for me and all my family/friends who came to visit,” Jessie said. 

According to the “Price Tag” singer, she is now resting at home and waiting for her results. 

“Still hugging everyone going through something tough right now. We all got this!” she wrote.

Earlier this June, Jessie disclosed her diagnosis to the public, saying that she discovered it before her latest song “No Secrets” came out this year. 

Jessie also shared that she will “disappear for a bit” after the Summertime Ball to undergo breast surgery. 

According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), there were 2.3 million women diagnosed with breast cancer worldwide and 670,000 deaths in 2022 alone. 

In the Philippines, one in four Filipinos develop breast cancer, per the Asian Breast Center, making it one of the countries with the highest incidences of breast cancer globally.
