Japanese Film Festival 2025 kicks off on January 31!

The film fest features 12 award-winning and fan-favorite Japanese flicks and will screen in select malls nationwide until March 2!

Here are the venues where the event will take place.

  • Shangri-la Plaza Red Carpet Cinema - January 31 to February 9
  • SM City Baguio - February 7 to 16
  • SM City Iloilo - February 14 to 23
  • SM Seaside City Cebu - February 14 to 23
  • SM City Davao - February 21 to March 2
  • SM City North EDSA - February 21 to March 2

Thus far, only the screening schedule for Shangri-La Plaza Red Carpet in Mandaluyong City has been announced, so stay tuned for the regional screening schedules!

Tickets for Shangri-La Red Carpet Cinema will be available beginning January 28, 12 noon, via www.ticket2me.net. While admission is free, a convenience fee may apply to online tickets.

The JFF, which launched in 1997, is organized by the Japan Foundation in Manila. Also known as EIGASAI in the Philippines, the festival brings Japanese cinema's treasures closer to Filipinos, captivating more than 25,000 audiences annually.
