IN the spirit of "bayanihan" in time of the opening of the new school year, J&T Express Philippines joined Department of Education's (DepEd) Brigada Eskwela 2025, lending its hands and hearts to help create better learning environments for students across three regions in the country, namely the National Capital Region (NCR), Davao Region and Region 4A or Calabarzon.

In Marikina City, J&T Express employees spent their day at Parang Elementary School, working alongside teachers, parents and volunteers to repaint walls, clean school grounds and fix up classrooms.

In Davao del Norte, J&T Express launched a special back-to-school project for 100 students from four elementary schools: Magdum, New Visayas, Cambanogoy and Apokon Elementary School.

Through a partnership with 97.5 Brigada News FM Tagum City, the team distributed school supplies to children who needed them most.

J&T Express branding department representative Penelope Maxine Bolor said that for them, Brigada Eskwela is "heartfelt movement that brings people together for a common goal, to uplift our students and teachers."

In the mountains of Rodriguez, Rizal, where many families are still recovering from a recent landslide, J& Express led a meaningful outreach at Inigan Elementary School, a small public school with 150 students from kindergarten to Grade 6.

With support from DepEd, the local government and The Fraternal Order of Eagles-Philippine Eagles Inc,, the team brought not just school supplies and snacks, but also hope.
