International Museum Day (IMD) is on Sunday, May 18 and museums in Metro Manila have quite a few surprises in store.

"The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities" is this year's theme, and it's an invitation to reimagine the museums' role "as essential connectors, innovators, and stewards of cultural identity."

From free admissions, special guided tours, and discounted rates, these museum offers will make you want to visit them, pronto.

"This year’s theme, 'The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities,' reminds us that museums aren’t just about the past—they’re evolving with us. Let’s explore, reflect, and imagine the future together," Yuchengco Museum wrote on social media.

The four-floor Yuchengco Museum houses the art collection of Ambassador Alfonso T. Yuchengco, and highlights his career as a businessman, diplomat, collector, philanthropist, patron of the arts, and advocate for education in the Philippines and beyond.
