What was supposed to be an event that fostered health and wellness turned into a violent blowout between zumba groups.

At a sports complex in Koronadal City in South Cotabato, a man was getting ready to host a zumba session, when a woman snatched the mic from him, claiming her group is the only zumba group authorized by the provincial LGU.

After she was refuted by another zumba group, a commotion took place. Someone switched off the mic, snatched it off the woman, who then grabbed the man's face — or in the words of the State of the Nation report, "sinakmal ang mukha ng lalaki."

Anyway, another male zumba instructor appeared at the scene, and the two male instructors began punching each other. When they finally calmed down, the two men decided to make peace.

But not the woman — the lady who first snatched the mic. She refused any reconciliation.

According to the report, all zumba sessions at the sports complex have been suspended. — LA, GMA Integrated News
