THE 2nd International Machinery, Tools & Accessories Philippines (Imtap 2025) and 3rd Philippine Subcon & Manufacturers Exhibition (Psmex 2025) officially opened on May 8, 2025, at the World Trade Center Metro Manila with a vibrant ceremony at Hall A's lobby.

The program began at 10 a.m. with an invocation and color ceremony by the University of Perpetual Help System-Dalta, followed by the Na-tional Anthem. Welcome remarks were delivered by Hermie Flores, president of the Aerospace Industries Association of the Philippines (AIAP), and Angelica Andrea Barrios, marketing director of MAI Events Management, who acknowledged sponsors, partners, and guests.
Keynote speeches came from Engr. Robert Dizon, executive director of DOST-MIRDC (for Imtap), and Tereso Panga, director general of PEZA (for Psmex). AIAP Chairman Dennis Chan delivered the official opening message, followed by a ribbon-cutting at 11:00 AM.
The event continued with a photo session and exhibition tour, showcasing cutting-edge machinery, tools, subcontracting services, and ad-vanced manufacturing technologies. Hosted by DJ Samantha of 96.3 Easy Rock, the program blended energy and professionalism.
Imtap and Psmex 2025 run through May 10, with free admission and technical seminars by industry experts, offering insights on manufactur-ing trends, automation, innovation, and supply chain growth.
