The theatrical release includes an exclusive new feature, "Reuniting the Revolution," a special prologue that showcases all-new interviews with the original cast and creators, reflecting on the impact of "Hamilton" on their lives and the show's cultural significance.

"When we filmed Hamilton, we wanted to try to capture the feeling of being in the Richard Rodgers Theatre during that first year on Broadway, and we're thrilled that audiences will now have the opportunity to experience it on the big screen," director and producer Thomas Kail said in a press release.

Initially released on Disney+ in 2020, the filmed version was shot live at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in June 2016.

The film stars the original Broadway cast, including Lin-Manuel Miranda as Alexander Hamilton, Leslie Odom Jr. as Aaron Burr, Renée Elise Goldsberry as Angelica Schuyler, and Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette, among others.

In 2023, “Hamilton” was staged in the Philippines at The Theater at Solaire, where Rachelle Ann Go returned to play Elizabeth Schuyler—Hermes Joy Tunac/JCB, GMA Integrated News
