In a move that underscores its confidence in Filipino athletes, GoTyme Bank has announced its official partnership with the Philippine Football Federation (PFF), marking a significant milestone in its mission to support Filipino talent on the global stage. As the official bank of the PFF, GoTyme Bank is committed to elevating Philippine football while reinforcing its status as a trusted, globally minded financial institution.

From the grassroots to the international field
Sports possess an unparalleled ability to unite people and ignite national pride. GoTyme Bank’s involvement aims to do more than just support football as a sport—it seeks to champion the dreams of Filipinos who view football as a path to success. This three-year partnership will focus on holistic development, from grassroots programs to global competitions. Key initiatives include:

GoTyme Bank Cup 2025
The inaugural GoTyme Bank Cup, a premier football tournament, will bring together the men’s and women’s national teams from the Philippines, South Africa, Vietnam, and Singapore. This landmark event aspires to become the region’s most prestigious football competition.

Support for national teams
The national teams, coaches, and players of the PFF will serve as brand ambassadors for GoTyme Bank. The bank’s products will be integrated into the teams' financial operations—including allowances for both domestic and international use—demonstrating GoTyme Bank’s robust international travel offerings.

Grassroots development programs
A series of outreach programs will launch this year, focused on nurturing young talent across the Philippines through community engagement, youth sports development, and financial education. These initiatives aim to empower the next generation of Filipino athletes.

In an interview with Manila Bulletin Lifestyle, Marisol Prieto, GoTyme’s head of brand, shared that the grassroots development program will kick off in the third quarter of this year, with plans to expand it to various provinces across the Philippines.

“We will work with our partners, including possibly bringing in coaches from abroad to teach the kids. This program will not only teach them about the game but also about financial literacy,” Marisol explained. “We will invite the parents, along with their kids and coaches, to teach them how to manage their money. Our involvement goes beyond just supporting athletes in their journey to becoming professional players; we’re also here to help them manage their finances responsibly.”

Additionally, as part of the partnership, GoTyme Bank will provide athletes with access to world-class banking, helping players stay on top of their finances both locally and internationally.

This partnership between GoTyme Bank and the PFF represents more than just a financial collaboration—it is a powerful commitment to nurturing talent, fostering community, and empowering the next generation of Filipino athletes.
