"Ghost of Yotei," the sequel to popular video game "Ghost of Tsushima," is set to be released on October 2, PlayStation announced.

The announcement comes with the new trailer for the upcoming game, which will follow Atsu's quest for vengeance, sixteen years after her family was killed by a gang of outlaws known as the Yotei Six.

In "Ghost of Yotei," Atsu will explore Ezo and find more than just revenge in her journey.

PlayStation said in its blog that the new game will offer "even more freedom and variety than in 'Ghost of Tsushima.'"

"We want you to have the freedom to explore Ezo however you decide to, and we can’t wait to share more," PlayStation said.
