BALANGA CITY — The Bataan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) conducted a livelihood training on bread and pastry production for its female uniformed and non-uniformed personnel on Monday, March 24, 2025.
The livelihood training, conducted in partnership with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) as part of its memorandum of agreement with the BPPO, was held at Camp Cirilo Tolentino in Balanga City.
Bataan police director Col. Palmer Tria said the BPPO and Tesda have been working together in providing livelihood opportunities for the police force.
"This initiative not only provides valuable skills and knowledge to our personnel but also empowers them with an opportunity to explore alternative sources of income," Tria said.
"By equipping our police officers with livelihood skills, we promote their personal growth, enhance their well-being, and foster a sense of community engagement."

This partnership, he said, aims to support the government's efforts to promote economic development and provide sustainable livelihoods for the people.
"Through programs like these, we continue to uphold our commitment to holistic development, ensuring that our officers are equipped to excel both in their professional duties and in their personal lives," Tria added.
