MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather is expected in most parts of the country today, while the southwest monsoon will prevail over Northern Luzon, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Fair and hot weather can be expected in Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol, the Visayas and Mindanao until Tuesday, PAGASA said.
Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Batanes, as well as partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers in the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya and in the regions of Ilocos and Cordillera.
The northern section of Luzon will feel moderate to strong winds and wave heights of up to 2.8 meters, while the rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds and coastal waters.
PAGASA has not monitored any low pressure area within or outside the Philippine area of responsibility.
