MANILA, Philippines – Upon the premiere of the Eraserheads: Combo on the Run documentary, the legendary Filipino band also announced that it would be staging a full-blown show on May 31, at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City: the Electric Fun Music Festival.
Conceptualized by the band members themselves “from the ground up,” the music festival will feature performances by a “carefully curated” lineup of OPM acts, who have yet to be revealed. The Eraserheads will also perform a full concert set.
“This is for the fans who wanted more,” Ely Buendia said in a press statement. “We just wanted a music festival where our friends, the artists we admire, can share the stage with us. We’re here to stay.”
