“Drag Race Philippines” just dropped a pasabog — they will be launching a new series, “Slaysian Royale!”
Following the “Drag Race Philippines” format, “Slaysian Royale” will see Filipino drag artists and more Asian queens from across the series franchise compete for the crown.
"This new version of ‘Drag Race’ shines a spotlight on Asian drag as never before, celebrating its culture, its history and creativity in a unique battle royale," series co-founders Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey said in a statement posted on Instagram.
“Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale” premieres later this year on Wow Presents Plus in the Philippines and worldwide.
The third and latest season of “Drag Race Philippines” aired in 2024, where Maxie Andreison was declared Drag Superstar.
Precious Paula Nicole was named the winner for Season 1, whereas Captivating KatKat won Season 2.
Hosted by Paolo Ballesteros, among the series’ notable judges include Rajo Laurel, BJ Pascual, Jon Santos, R’Bonney Gabriel, Maricel Soriano, Sharon Cuneta, and many more.
