This year, Chinese New Year is celebrated on Wednesday, January 29, with the government declaring it a special non-working holiday. 

2025 is the year of the Wooden Snake and according to Feng Shui expert and Geomancer Patrick Lim Fernandez, this year is all about building harmonious relationships.

“A lot of our luck would be from working through others,” Fernandez told the members of the press at a recent event in New World Makati. 

Before the festivities begin, here’s a general guide on finances, health, career, and love for each of the Chinese Zodiac signs for 2025, the year of the Wooden Snake.

Rat (1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008): This year is all about making money and investments. Powered with the Jade Hall star, embrace the opportunity to diversify your income for a better financial standing in the future.

There will be times in the year where you will encounter difficulties, but these are actually blessings in disguise, so take those as a lesson to be a better person.
