Jin and Park Hyung Sik had a fun, chaotic time on “Run Jin” — not to mention that it was a visual feast!

The BTS member was surprised by the singer-actor on the online variety show. Hyung Sik was in another room and spoke through a microphone to Jin, who was in the studio. After asking Hyung Sik a few questions, Jin corrected guessed his guest's identity.

“I’m ecstatic to be on ‘Run Jin.’ I’ve really enjoyed watching it,” Hyung Sik told Jin.

“Since I’m good friends with Taehyung [V of BTS], I feel close to you too. So I like to watch anything that BTS members are on,” he added.

The pair played a life-sized version of the Korean boardgame Yutnori, or Jin-Nori, where four wooden sticks are used to move their tokens around the board, and the first to finish wins.

In between Jin-Nori, the duo played badminton with random objects as rackets, erased marker scribbles with their socks, and a guessing game with tied hoodies, among others.

In the end, Jin won Jin-Nori and the two were happy and satisfied about their experience on the show.

“I had a great time shooting this with Hyung Sik,” Jin said.

“In the beginning, we were opponents, but in the end, we are one. It was a good lesson learned so I was very honored. I wish you all the best,” he added.

Hyung Sik debuted as a member of the boy group “ZE:A” in 2010. As an actor, he is known for his roles in “The Heirs,” “Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth,” “Suits,” and more.

Run Jin” premiered in 2024, soon after Jin finished his mandatory military service.

Later that year, Jin released his debut solo album “Happy” which includes the tracks “I’ll Be There,” “Running Wild,” and “Heart on the Window” with Wendy of Red Velvet. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
