Bonifacio Global City (BGC) has released an official statement regarding a disruptive incident concerning Russian vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, who went viral for his livestream on the streets of Taguig City.

In a statement sent to GMA News Online, BGC said they are “aware of multiple reports regarding disruptive incidents” in their area of responsibility.

“We are actively coordinating with the appropriate authorities and are pursuing necessary legal measures to address the situation,” the statement continued.

“Ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone in BGC remains our top priority. We continue to work closely with the authorities to uphold safety and security within the estate,” BGC added.

In an Unang Balita report Thursday, Major General Nicolas Torre III of the Philippine National Police - Criminal Investigation and Detection Group said the vlogger allegedly harassed Filipinos and displayed “disruptive behavior” during his livestream in BGC.

He was arrested in a hotel in Pasay City on Wednesday after the Bureau of Immigration (BI) issued a Mission Order for Undesirability against him.

Vitaly was brought to a detention facility in Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig.

In a separate statement, the BI said a BGC security guard reportedly filed a police blotter against Vitaly Zdorovetskiy before the Southern Police District for “harassment” that led to the issuance of the mission order.

The vlogger is now tagged as an undesirable foreign national, per the BI. — Hermes Joy Tunac/LA, GMA Integrated News
