Basyang weakens into low-pressure area

MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Depression Basyang has weakened into a low pressure area (LPA) on Saturday as it moves over Sulu Sea, the state weather bureau said. According to Pagasa, Basyang made five landfalls in Mindanao and Visayas, which caused its structure to deteriorate, weakening into a low-pressure area. The LPA was last seen on
