VAT-free essential childcare products for solo parents bill pushed

MANILA, Philippines — Trabaho party-list Rep. Johanne Bautista on Sunday called for the swift passage of the Parental Childcare Bill which seeks to reduce financial burden for solo parents. Under the proposed measure, a VAT exemption will be placed on essential childcare goods, such as infant formula, diapers, and vitamins, for households earning below P250,000
