MANILA, Philippines — AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC) has joined a recent investment mission in Taiwan to help promote the Philippines as a preferred expansion destination.

The investment mission, conducted in partnership with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, the Philippine Trade and Investment Center and the Manila Economic and Cultural Office, aims to position the Philippines as a top-of-mind destination for Taiwanese companies seeking to diversify their industrial footprint in Southeast Asia.

It highlighted the country’s competitive advantages, including its growing industrial ecosystem, skilled workforce and investor-friendly policies.

ALLHC chief operating officer Patrick Avila said the investment mission marked an important step in positioning the Philippines as a trusted partner for Taiwanese companies looking to expand in the region.

Avila said it also served as a significant milestone in advancing the company’s role in attracting foreign direct investments into the country.

“The receptiveness of the investors we met affirms that our industrial developments, particularly the upcoming PEZA-registered phase of Pampanga Technopark, are well aligned with the requirements of global manufacturers seeking scale, efficiency and long-term growth,” he said.

According to ALLHC, the mission was well received by Taiwanese investors, many of whom engaged in productive discussions regarding the Philippines’ potential as a strategic location for future expansion.

It said discussions centered on the Philippines’ readiness to support sectors where Taiwanese firms have strong expertise and global reach, such as advanced manufacturing, electronics and high-value industrial operations.

ALLHC, for its part, showcased its portfolio of industrial developments designed to meet the evolving requirements of multinational locators.

Particular attention was given to the new phase of Pampanga Technopark, which already hosts established logistics and ready-built facilities and is preparing a new phase slated for PEZA registration.

ALLHC said the phase is positioned to support Taiwanese companies entering or expanding in the Philippine market, with infrastructure suited for manufacturing, logistics and export-oriented operations.

As the industrial real estate arm of property giant Ayala Land Inc., ALLHC develops world-class industrial estates. It is present in nine growth areas nationwide through its industrial parks, warehouses, cold storage facilities, data centers and commercial leasing.

ALLHC finished 2025 with a 71.5-percent drop in net income to P200 million from the previous year’s P701 million.

Its full-year 2025 consolidated revenues likewise declined by 26.9 percent to P3.8 billion from P5.2 billion in 2024.

ALLHC said that its 2025 performance was shaped by lower industrial lot sales alongside the continued stabilization and ramp-up of leasing assets completed and acquired during the year.

While lot sales eased from the previous year’s levels, recurring income helped moderate the impact on revenues.

The company was able to expand its cold storage footprint to 31,600 pallet positions by end-2025, a 56-percent jump from 20,300 pallet positions in 2024.

“In a more measured market environment, we prioritized stabilizing and optimizing our assets while continuing to advance our industrial developments in select locations. As we move forward, we remain committed to disciplined execution and positioning the business for sustainable, long-term growth,”  ALLHC president and chief executive officer Robert Lao said.
