No less than 13 local fanbases gathered at Robinson’s Galleria, Ortigas Saturday, where the Korean Cultural Center brought together Filipino’s love for festivals and K-Pop once more at the 2025 Everyone’s K-Pop event.
According to Nomar of Blackpink Philippines, “We learn a lot from [Korean] culture, not just because of our passion in supporting our idols but also the impact that they give on our everyday lives. For example, the positivity that they give to us and that they become our shining hope."
“Dito sa event center, hindi lang naman K-Pop fans yung pumapasok. Pati yung ibang tao, like [yung mga] curious lang. So, nakikita nila na parang itong mga K-Pop groups na ito, naglaaan sila ng time, naglalaan sila ng magagandang ideas para lang supportahan yung groups na gusto nila,” added Jillian of Seventeen PH.
(In this event center, it’s not just the K-Pop fans coming in. There’s also other simple people who are just curious. They can see these K-Pop groups and give their time, give good ideas just to support the groups they love.)
The event featured fanbase booths where K-Pop related games could be played and K-Pop related freebies were given away. A long dedication wall allowed K-Pop fans to write personal messages for their idols as well as for their fellow fans, while an area was reserved for a fan art exhibit.
P-Pop group members Hori7on Marcus and Vinci discussed their trainee journey and experience as a Filipino K-Pop group.
“Grabe yung pressure sa amin. Of course, excited kami na makalabas sa mga stages [where] our idols have gone up to and performed. Super laking pressure sa amin kasi kami yung magiging first na all-Filipino group to do that and promote so much… Super laking pressure but [there is] a lot of pride in doing that kasi parang napapakita namin to all the young Filipinos that they can have someone to look up to that looks like them, and relates to them in a different light,” Vinci shared.

P-Pop groups New:ID and Vxon also joined the program as guest-stars.
The event’s main highlight were the final leg of the K-Pop dance cover competition, won by dance group Paradigm with their performance of “HOT” by Seventeen, and a performance from the graduates of KCC’s three-month dance program “2025 K-Pop Academy.”
The event was held in collaboration with Seoul Shinmun, the Korea Copyright Protection Agency - Manila Office (KCOPA), and Philippine K-pop Convention Inc. (PKCI). — LA, GMA Integrated News
