The long wait is almost over!
Netflix has officially announced that Season 3 of the hit Japanese series “Alice in Borderland” is set to premiere on September 25, diving back into its high-stakes world of survival and suspense.
Directed by Shinsuke Sato and based on Haro Aso’s bestselling manga of the same title, the new season sees Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya return as Arisu and Usagi. A newly released poster shows the two desperately reaching for each other, capturing the show’s signature life-or-death tension.
“Alice in Borderland” follows Arisu, a teenager trapped in an apocalyptic version of Tokyo known as the Borderlands, where he must survive deadly games tied to playing cards.
The first season in 2020 tackled games linked to numbered cards, while Season 2 in 2022 introduced a more intense battle with Jack, Ace, King, and Queen face cards.
It ended with the surviving players waking up in the real world, where a meteor strike had caused the chaos that led them into the Borderlands. — Hermes Joy Tunac/LA, GMA Integrated News
