THE chief of the Public Attorney's Office (PAO) has hailed its former ranking official, who has just been proclaimed as the duly elected mayor of a Kalinga town in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).
PAO chief Persida Rueda-Acosta was referring to ex-PAO deputy chief public attorney Silvestre Mosing, who is now the new mayor of the municipality of Pasil following Monday's midterm elections nationwide.
"The men and women of the Public Attorney's Office congratulate former Deputy Chief Public Attorney Silvestre on winning the mayoral elections in Pasil, Kalinga," said Rueda-Acosta on her post on PAO's official Facebook page.
"We believe in your passion and dedication towards your continued service to the Filipino people," the chief public attorney said.
Mosing, 61, was Associate Public Attorney II when he entered the agency in 1995 until he retired as Rueda-Acosta's deputy chief public attorney.
